For customers without a credit account, we require two forms of identification before any equipment can be hired. Accepted forms of ID include a driving licence, a bank or credit card statement, and a household utility bill (by phone app or paper). Additionally, a security deposit is needed, which can be paid via card or cash, depending on the equipment being hired.

Yes, in addition to tool hire, we sell a variety of tools and accessories. We are stockists of Bosch power tools and carry a comprehensive range of accessories, including SDS and HSS drill bits, sanding sheets, diamond blades and more.

What is my responsibility regarding returns
Equipment remains on hire, and therefore chargeable, until it's returned to our branches. If you require a collection, please call 0115 9872179 to arrange. The security of any equipment remains your responsibility until it's collected by us or has been returned.

What is the deposit required for hiring tools, and how is it calculated?
The deposit required for hiring tools varies depending on the item you select. Our team will inform you of the exact deposit amount when you make your booking. Deposits can be paid via cash or card and are fully refundable upon the safe return of the equipment.

What are your opening hours and is parking available at your location?
We’re open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The shop is closed on weekends. Parking is available at our Carlton location, so you can easily collect your tools without any hassle.

Do you sell gas bottles, and what sizes are available?
Yes, we sell both butane and propane gas bottles in various sizes, including 3.9kg, 6kg, 13kg, 19kg, and 47kg. These are suitable for a range of domestic and commercial applications, and we usually have all sizes in stock.
